CeNCOOS and SCCOOS support Farallon Institute's 30 year ocean climate indicator, that synthesizes  local and regional ocean and atmospheric conditions that represent the state of the California coastal ocean.

Update from Farallon on recently released MOCI: Northern, Central, and Southern California MOCI are now updated through June 2024. This season, California MOCI values have continued to decline, as we’ve officially left El Niño conditions.
