SCCOOS supports the Long Beach CDIP wave buoy. The Datawell wave buoy is a high-resolution accelerometer-based instrument that measures wave height, wave period, wave direction, sea surface temperature, and in some locations, surface currents and air temperature.

The Del Mar mooring collects data on temperature, salinity, oxygen, current speed and direction, fluorescence, and backscatter.

SCCOOS and CeNCOOS supports the data ingestion of Orange County Sanitation District OAH M21 mooring off Newport Beach.
