There are multiple ways to access SCCOOS data. The primary way is through the California Ocean Observing Systems Data Portal and its associated Data Catalog.

The underlying data may also be accessed on ERDDAP or THREDDS. SCCOOS also submits data to the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI). You can find more information on how to submit your data to NCEI here.

Sensor observations for all parameters are available via our ERDDAP. Data output formats include CSV, MAT, R, OpenDap, XML, JSON, NetCDF, KML and more.
